We will be optimizing this design by:
- utilizing materials that are relatively cheap, long-lasting and available in Miramar, El Salvador
- implementing a pipe with a larger diameter and thicker walls to compensate for the large volumes of rainwater to be collected
- finding a way to stabilize the water storage pipe due to the pressure and force of the large volumes of water to make the device last longer with less frequent maintenance
